    Kohl/chase reporting question

ok signed up to check credit report found some very intersting things.

kohl/chase reads 1000.00 limit high balance 928. balance 858. paid or paying as agreed. 0 past due. nothing about chapter 7. is this hurting or helping my score. looks like they have not reported since the month before we filed. I dont know wheather to leave it alone or make them change it to IIB 0 due.

Also my home that we gave back that has not gone althe way through the forcloser yet. Shows balance and says paying as agreed. Large balance over 300,000.00 but if they change it will I take a IIB hit and a forcloser hit. we were current until the month we filed.

Is you case discharged........ but not closed because of the foreclosure and sale?

If so you can dispute the bad postings....... you want them to say "Included in Bankruptcy" balance $0.....

If you home was included in bankruptcy and turned back in you should not have a foreclosure on your credit report.... Now if you had let it go to foreclosure, then filed bankruptcy, both would appear on the credit report.

The information on the home probably won't change on your credit report till its sold...... though you could go ahead an dispute the fact that it shows a balance due, and it WAS included in the bankruptcy...... they need to get that notation on there also..... with $0 balance showing what is due.....

Anything included in your bankrutpcy should say IIB with a $0 balance..... dispute anything that doesn't say that....

      Personal experience here, but,.........

I noticed that the CRA's tend to run about 60 days behind sometimes.

When we pulled our Credit Reports for our attny, every acct was showing "Pays as Agreed" even tho we'd already missed 2 payments on most and 3 payments on some accts.

Re Foreclosure and BK together,........... Here's a link to a thread for you. Look at pages 8 and 9:

      Filed Ch 7 - 09/06
      Discharged - 12/2006
Officially Declared No Asset - 03/2007
      Closed - 04/2007

When we filed Chapter 7 we put our house down and said we were given it back. they request a lift of stay and was given it.Never late before we filed. House was really costing us more than 75% of our current income. Minny you are correct our Chapter 7 is not closed yet, We filed in oct 14,2005 will be a year soon we were a asset case and I belive the trustee has not sent payments off yet. the house was to go to auction on July 6th. Heard it takes another 75 days for the bank to get deed in thier name. Get this the homeowners aas fined us $500.00 for failing to water lawn. I sent them notices and they respond we are still the legal owners but I feel the lien is on that house so it should go with the house lien from them for 500 was placed 8/15/2006. Discharged from the house 02/06.
From what I read I should contack all three CB and tell them that the house was discharge in chapter 7, and 0 balance should be showing. Also same with the Khols account. will get busy writing them. thanks for your help
