A few questions while waiting for our 341 Meeting

1) Are bank statements necessary at a 341 meeting?

2) Does it matter how much money is in your account at your 341 meeting or at the confirmation hearing?

I'm really trying to spend less and scrimp when possible in our budgeted categories to build up a small savings account in the event of problems the first few months of our plan since we can't rely on credit cards for obvious reasons. I figure if I can penny pinch now it could help later on but I don't want to look like we have these big amounts, cause we don't. Thank you for any advice!

1) We weren't asked to bring any to our 341 meeting, but I had some ready just in case.

2) The trustee didn't ask how much money we had in the bank on the day of the 341. I don't think it matters.
