Can I file as a single person while married?

In Kentucky for reference...can I file a single petition for bk while being married? The debt (credit cards of which spouse is not on nor were they an authorized user) was incurred by myself, and, mostly without the knowledge of the spouse. All assets are, however, owned jointly including house and vehicles. Hoping to not bring down my spouse since I alone was the one making really poor decisions.
