Hyundai has even Toyota concerned a bit.

Sorry Cab, I misunderstood what you said. No fight here!!!!

Whatever the poster buys, I just feel it is just good pre-bk planning.

I could spend hours presenting the future and present economic impact (my opinion of course) if the Ford and GM's are replaced by the Toyota's, Honda's, Hyndai's, etc. That's not really what this forum is for. I'm Pro-American as far as Auto's....I'll just leave it at that....(and no, I'm not in a union)

LOL~ no worries aa06~ no worries at all....hey, we can all debate everything in the world..that's what makes it so great to live here~ you can have your say...I DO listen to what others have to say because I figure I can only gain from someones experience~ we all can!!!! I appreciate all people's input~ no problems here!!!!!
And hey aa06~ I'd much rather hear a what a person has to SAY, even when it differs from my opinion~ versus one that just sits there and gives no input~ but yet judges others or bellyaches about their situation.... I'd much rather stand for SOMETHING...!!!!!!!! ...you have to stand up for what you believe... (and that is GOOD!!!!!!!) or you fall for everything...isn't that what they say!!!!!
CatchMe~ I have a friend that bought one of the Hundai's she loved it...drove it for 5 years~ I think it was good for her~ I think Kia is the one that's not so good......i've heard several people that have bought those, say they would NOT again~
My dad was a Chrysler man~
I'm a Toyota gal~ but am trying Nissan
aa06 is a Ford person~ so is my son~ he does love his truck, just that he's had to take it in.....but hey, it could happen to my Nissan too.....in fact, my husband reminded me that he had to take his Nissan in for a recall, and it was fixed...... IT'S ALL GOOD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Boiler704~ just get a good car that YOU think YOU will like, that's what is important!!!!!!!!!!

As I look at the option of a chapter 13, I have some questions involving gambling. I think mine migh be different, but I am turning over every rock in my past year. I used a couple of credit cards for cash advances at casinos but never used the casino itself, the cash advances coming from a local bank's ATM at the casino. I have less than $500.00 on cash advances for such purposes. So, I'm not too worried about the cc issue. My question is more related to gambling in general. I have over $7500 in IRS reportable winnings during the past 8 months, however, my "losses" take this down to about a net gain for the year of approximately $400.00. During my "gambling spree," I was always paid up on cc's and all other unsecured debt. Will the court hold it against me that I gambled with "disposable" income that I could have used to pay down unsecured debt? I was not behind in payments at any time. Does the court need to know about such recreational gambling if thre is no substantial loss or gain? I fel my attorney is only intrested in the substantial loss and any cc gambling debt that could show up on credit cards. If anyone has expereince with gambling that does not leas to a debt owed on a cc, I'd appreciate the comments.

I'm sure some trustee's might look down on a gambler that files bankruptcy, but it won't be an issue. People take chances with their disposable income all the time. Examples: stock market, real estate, or any other investment you may make with your money. It won't effect your ability to file. Your bankruptcy payment will be based on income - allowed expences period.
