I was in an automobile accident last year while under the plan to save several properties from my ex-wife and foreclosure.. Is there a way when I settle with the insurance company that I could keep any or part of the settlement for lost wages, future medical, or do I just turn it over to the trustee to pay my ex-wife's credit cards?
