Authorized user is declaring bankruptcy, help

I'm declaring chapter 13 and I'm an authorized user of my aunts credit cards which are current and paid on time..........does this have to be listed in the chapter 13 plan? I got her to remove me as authorized user but it's already on the credit report and I'm filing this next week and have no choice.

Since I'm not responsible for the cards do they have to be listed in the chapter 13? This is not a joint debt!

No you don't list it. Its not your account.

Ok, I got my aunt to take me off as authorized user on those accounts however even though I didn't list it with my attorney in the paperwork I did tell him about the accounts and that i was only an authorized user......it is showing up in my credit report as i'm the authorized user of those accounts.

Those accounts are current and being paid on and actually have activity on them, etc. Since she reported to those creditors to take me off as authorized user, should i dispute those accounts? I looked into reason of disputes and one listed is: this is a primary account holders account or something to that nature..........then there's a box you can fill in a response. should i check that option and say in the box that the primary account holder notified creditor to remove me as authorized user.

I'm trying to protect myself as the authorized user so I don't have to make mention or have this apart of the chapter 13 plan and I'm trying to protect her credit as the primary account holder.

Would this be the smart thing to do?

Don't dispute them unless she defaults on them. In the meantime, it will be a positive on your credit report.
