I filed chapter 13 5 years ago , one creditor did not file a proof of claim so my attorney did for them in good faith a week after the plan was confirmed. Then the creditor filed their own proof of claim more than 8 months after the plan was confirmed and their amount is $2600 more than the one my attorney filed.
I just found out today that they are still trying to collect that excess amount they included in their proof of claim , and that is perfectly fine for them to collect that after the bankruptcy is over. Is that correct?
