Partial disposable income to pay 13 plan

Wife filed 7 then converted to 13 because of over median. She's ready to fire attorney #1. Now we are confused because #1 had told her that only a percentage of the expendable income equal to her % of the household income would be the plan payment. Possible new lawyer says all expendable income from both of us would have to be paid. Does anyone know who is right?

My hubby filed solo for a chapter 13. This is how my lawyer and the trustee worked out my "contribution" to the household: My total income less my personal debt responsibilities, less my personal expenses NOT included on any of the other schedules (vet bills for our dog, my cell phone, my office expenses) equaled the amount that the trustee felt I should be contributing to the household.

From what I recall, there was no percentage of expendable income from me that they used, but rather the total of my expendable income that should be contributed.
    Filed Chapter 13 02/2006 - Confirmed 05/2006 - Discharged 09/2011
I'm not an attorney. My replies are merely suggestions or observations, not legal advice. As always, consult with an attorney before making any decisions.
