    Request a continuance in advance?

We had our 341 last week, the case was continued, and we were given new 341/confirmation hearing dates. I have to adjust our plan and mail to the creditors by about June 4th.

I am going to get a pay raise scheduled for the end of June, so I'll need to adjust our plan again. Yes, the trustee asks for current paystubs for between the time of the filing and the 341 and every last penny is accounted for -- no joke. So I'll end up having to revise my plan and mailing it to the creditors AGAIN. I have about 150 of them, so it costs me about $75 a mailing. Plus, then mental anguish of adjusting my BK forms is putting me on the verge, so I don't want tot have to do it twice unless necessary.

    What should I do?
    a) Adjust the plan, mail it out now & show up for the already scheduled 341 and ask for a continuance, or
    b) ask for a continuance now.

    Thanks

When is your new 341 Meeting and Confirmation Hearing scheduled for??

If your Court dates are prior to your raise, I wouldn't do anything yet.

Hubby's company typically gives raises the first of December each year. The end of November came and went with no performance review. Middle of December creeped up. Still no performance review. Then the Company announced there would be NO raises until the Company completed their "turn around".

Your company may be just fine and you'll probably get your raise right on schedule, but,.......... A proposed raise in pay is just that. You got nothing until you actually see extra $$$'s on your paycheck.
