chapter 13 discharge

not sure what this means, just curious. what is being discharged mean? that you are completly done with it? chapter 13 was filed jan 3 2007 for a period of 5 years. payment of $930 per month for 60 months.

had to file because a drunk driver hit me in a car and we got screwed big time from the accident. med bills were around 450k

i made all my payments on time, however am still wondering what discharged means in bk?

Umm, if you filed in "Jan 2007", how can you have made all your payments in a 60 month plan.

A discharge means you are done, and any remaining debt owed to the unsecured creditors that you included in your chapter 13 can no longer be collected against you.
