    Nervous about everything

My signing appt. for my chapter 13 is 10/2, week from tomorrow. I am very nervous and don't know why. Unfortunately I've already been through this (old law), but I don't know why I'm so nervous this time. Everyone keeps talking about the trustee objecting to the plan....how common is that really, and what are some of the reasons, if you don't mind sharing? I'm worried because 90% of my debt is with the same credit union (i'm surrendering a vehicle to them and keeping 1 and a secured loan), I'm so scared that this is going to blow up in my face! I'm filing 2 weeks before I wanted to because credit union is saying they are going to send a letter for "15 days to clear default". Last time the trustee didn't ask me anything, didn't require tax returns/refunds, nothing....but that was old law. I'm on a repayment plan with my mtg right now and the payment is due on 9/28...laywer said not to pay it that the arrears (including 10/1) payment will be paid through the plan, I will start paying direct on 11/1.....did anyone else do this? Another thing, I got a new vehicle before filing (first payment will be do 10/15), It will be included with my plan....but should I make my first payment myself, even though it's due after I file, or just let the plan pay it after it's confirmed, hopefully in November (they will start receiving payments from my payroll in October), 341 meeting will be 10/31. Please advise, as I'm driving myself insane!

    good that u r nervous

It's very common to be so nervous. This only proves that you actually care and have thought about it.

If you are anything like me, you go into every little scenrio that there is...

    What do I do if....?
    What happens if....?

I was once telling my husband that all I ever seem to do is worry and that I think I may need professional help. He looked at me and laughed. Said he didn't know if they came up with a "what if" pill yet.

I don't think you have much to worry about. Express your concerns to your lawyer, though. S/He should be able to put some of your worries at ease.

What if pill........man that would be great. My husbands says I never see the positive in anything, he's right.

Not knowing what will happen next in bankruptcy is the "nerve wrecking" part of if. We also think the worse can happen.
If the trustee doesn't accept your plan - you just work up another one. Its all in the course of the day.....

Think positive, rely on your attorney, and hopefully you will get past this "little bump" in the road to a "fresh start"......

Its all down to the "bookwork" and "payment plan" now...... so just hang in there, be patient, and don't worry till you have something to worry about....

        Good luck, keep us posted.
