Has anyone heard of a chapter 13 case that never ended up being confirmed?

Second question, I read that until a plan is confirmed, it is the responsibility of the debtor to make adequate "protection" payments on all secured claims they wish to keep directly to the creditor. It says something about less amount to trustee. Any idea what this means?

I'm a wreck, I don't want to lose my vehicles, but I can't afford to pay the vehicle payments and the trustee payments, when the trustee payments have the amount for the vehicles included.

    I'm a worry wort.

If they are included in your plan, you only need to pay the trustee. You pay the trustee from the time you file--whatever your lawyer worked out your payments to be. We included my car in the 13 and once we filed, we didn't make any more payments on our own, we just paid the trustee his monthly sum & then it was up to them to figure out make payments w/our lender.
    Chapter 13 Filed: 2/7/07 Confirmed: 5/1/07 Discharged: 3/2/2012 Closed: 6/2/2012
    130 out of 130 bi-weekly payments DONE
    100% Completed

Klux, you need to go get some anti anxiety medicine.

You are asking TOO many what-if questions. Go see a lawyer and tell them your situation already...they can inform you what YOU SPECIFICALLY would need to worry about and more importantly what you DONT need to worry about in YOUR SPECIFIC CIRCUMSTANCES.

I am not trying to dissuade you from asking questions. But it is more helpful to ask questions within a "specific context". Many of your questions are broad question like: Are chapter 13's objected to, can the trustee raise your payment, can a case not be confirmed...well, the answer to all those questions is YES. Now ask yourself, now that you know the answer, are you really any better informed about BK and about how your case is going to go? I suspect not.

Thus, it is more helpful to you, and to other members if you frame your questions within the context of your specific circumstances.
