What are the chances of my 314 being postponed if I cannot locate my original SSN card? I have a copy of it with a copy of my marriage certificate but I can't find the darn card. I try to keep it in one spot and of course the day before the 314 I can't find it.

If you have a SS office where you live, go there and file an application for a replacement one and they will give you a sheet with an official stamp on it with your ss number. -

yes, they will give you a computer generated letter stating that that is your ss number, which will be signed and dated by someone there at the office. You will get your ss card in a week, but that form should be all you need for the trustee. Good luck.Comment

Well I had my 341 meeting yesterday and fortunately my husban found my SSN card the night before because they trustee was not taking cases for those who did not have theirs with them. The meeting lasted 7 minutes at the most. Thanks to this website (and particularly this message board) I wasn't as stressed as I thought I would be.Comment
