I read in another post that begining in 2008 you will be allowed up to $1500 per year per child to be an allowable expense in chapter 13. Does anyone know if this is true or were I can find any info on it.

If you do the means test at http://www.legalconsumer.com/bankrup...tcy-means-test, there is already a place for private school tuition (line 38 under Section 5B). It says to list education expenses not to exceed $137.50 per child for elementary or secondary education.
