Hey Worried I hope you check back cause I want to tell you its possible to rent with a 13, I did. I got us foreclosed before I got into the 13 and was worried like you but I found there are enough people who will rent to someone with a good job and a jacked up credit situation.
I found realtors who rent and lease inflexible they won't consider Bk/foreclosure people instead seek out leasing/management companies or individuals. Call em up one by one and explain situation. Be straight, you don't want to waste your time or theirs.
First time right after getting foreclosed I eventually found a leasing agency that would deal, paid 2 months deposit and moved in this house.
The place was kind of a dump but we had settled because of time frame and fear of not getting anything so after the 2 year lease I called around again and found 2 agencies that would work with us and moved in a nicer house with 1 month deposit.
So be prepared to do a lot of calling but its doable.
