Well, my 341 is tomorrow, wish me luck. Converting from 7 to 13. I'll let everyone know how it went.

I'm well above the means, my atty made mistake when filing my 7. Should have filed a 13 to begin with. I filed the motion to convert on the 15th.Comment

Hi all. Well, I lived through the meeting. It was actually pretty simple. He asked me to swear in, then asked me "how did you get to this point". I answered, he asked what I did for a living, etc. But then he said because the US Trustee had objected to the BK he was going to reschedule a meeting for Apr 15, etc. My atty explained that the US Trustee had objected to the 7 and we are now converting to a 13. He stated he had no objections to the converstion, etc. That was it. Now, the conversion starts, and I just wait. Wasn't bad at all. The traffic down was much worse!!!Comment

I, too, had to convert from a Chapter 7 to a chapter 13 (old law). The second 341 meeting was painless compared to the first one. Good Luck!sigpicPersevere: "To continue a course of action, in spite of difficulty, opposition or discouragement."
