OMG!!! I couldn't believe my eyes when I opened the mail TODAY!!! Here's what it said :

Dear Debtor(s)
A review of your case indicates that you have completed the required payments under your Chapter 13 plan. In order to expedite your discharge, please immediately discontinue payments to the Chapter 13 Trustee. If your Chapter 13 payments are deducted from your paycheck, please show this letter to your employer to discontinue the wage attachment. A copy of this letter will be forwarded to your attorney for their records. Upon receipt of all disbursement checks from your creditors, we will forward a Final Report to you, your attorney and the Court, which will be marked "Closed Completed". At that time, the Court will process your Discharge Order. :

We scrimped and saved every penny we could from our house repairs, clothing, cigs and entertainment money. We also had two car payments that finished about a year into the plan that were being paid outside the BK. We were 69.6% pay back and was so afraid that the trustee was going to take the pay off and tell us to continue paying. We are just so happy its OVER!!

We are so relieved! It was the longest 43 months of our lives! We're in Pa, middle district.

We have been following this forum since the day we filed (Aug 2004) and would like to thank everyone for the strength and courage of getting us through our BK.
It was tough but worth it. There is a light at the end of the tunnel.

congratulations!!!! I am in your shoes but haven't received the letter. My case is currently "under review" I need to send in April's payment but the disbursement in May pays off everyone!!!!! I hope to have that letter too within a month!!! congrats!!

They are reviewing my case for discharge. My next payment pays off the rest of my unsecured creditors completely (61.56 percent) with a small amount left over. The trustee's office told me that about 2 weeks after disbursement I should receive the letter to stop sending in payments and that the case is in process for discharge. I am in Michigan so maybe it works different here.

Case status

Checked on my trustee's web site and it says case status "closed complete". Sent in early pay off on Apr 9th 2008. And I found this on there it states:
