dismissal and closed accounts

If a creditor has closed my account (it is on my credit report), and if my case is dismissed, can the creditor reopen the account for repayment?

They could, odds are it will be transfered to a collection agency. The fact that a creditor "closes" an account has not legal bearing on your responsibility to repay any outstanding debt.
