Just got a bill that wasn't on our credit reports from a check cashing place my husband took out a payday loan with a couple years before we met. Hubby says he's sure the bill is valid, he just didn't remember it when we filed since it wasn't on the credit report and hadn't heard from them in years. We did add a medical bill that was incurred before filing but we didn't get billed for until after we filed (but before the confirmation hearing) so I was wondering if anyone knows if we'd be able to add this creditor too since we still have 4 years of plan payments to make? (Bill is ~$600). Not all of our creditors filed claims, so I don't think it should even increase our base plan, but thought I'd ask here before bothering my lawyer about doing the paperwork. Thanks!

I know it is probably at least 5 years old, but not sure exactly as we have only been married for 4 years. (I say at least 5years because when we moved in together a year before getting married I made him stop doing the payday loans, let him use my credit cards instead.) He also had this horrible habit of just throwing his bills in the trash unopened the first couple years we were married (hmm, wonder how we ended up in BK a few years later?) That made figuring out who all to include as creditors much harder when we did file, but I'm thinking this might have slipped through the cracks on the credit reports.Filed CH 13 September 17, 2007

Thanks rrockinggramma. I will probably be contacting the lawyer soon anyhow about amending our whole plan because my husband has been out of work on disability for 5 months now and has an appointment in 2 days with his 3rd neurologist, so we might be looking to amend the entire plan to take into account the big change in his income.Filed CH 13 September 17, 2007
