Just wanted to give you all a little encouragement and hope.
Our ch.13 was discharged last summer.Had not applied for credit since then and had been using son in law's car since 2006 and making the payments.But it never felt like it was ours!
Was able to lease a new Ford Escape yesterday with no problem and great terms!
But we have learned our lesson and will never take on credit card debt again! We now can live again!

Yes, their is "life" after bankruptcy, and it can be GOOD................

Thanks for giving us the update and letting us know that there is a light at the end of this BK tunnel!

Congrats on the new car too!

May 2008 Hired 1st Attorney/Stopped paying CCs
May 21, 2009 Retained 2nd Attorney
May 28th - Filed for Ch 7 (FINALLY!)
9/11/09 - DISCHARGED!!!!
