Just got notice that my chapter 13 payment went up over 300 dollars a month.My income has not changed ,and i was barley getting by before this.What causes this payment to go up without warning?I will call my lawyer on monday,but is there anything he can really do?

It can't go up without some type of modification, that you would have been sent a copy. I am guessing that your Plan had a step up in payments. Where as it is one payment for a set period of time and then it goes up, usually due to a termination of a secured loan or some other payment you were paying (i.e. a 401k loan). Look at your Chapter 13 plan and check the payments. If that is the case, call your attorney(regardless) and talk to him about doing a Post-Confirmation Modification to adjust your payments if it is for the reasons mentioned above.
