Case completed as of jun 29....now how long must we wait for our discharge papers? and will our vehicle lenders send us paid in full documents or do we have to ask them for that information? i am so needing to get rid of my vehicle, preferably BEFORE it just stops running all together.

it wasn't difficult to keep up with, it was much better getting out of the predicament we were in than to go on living the way we were! we were originally in for 50 months, but because a vast majority of our debt was unsecured and these unsecured creditors did not file a claim to get paid....we ended up getting an early release at 44 months, and still paid more than the original amount agreed upon to those creditors who did file their claim. the only secured debt we had at the time of filing was our two vehicles and a state tax. I AM SO GLAD THAT IT IS OVER THOUGH! i am looking forward to not being under the court's rule, and i feel that this has taught my husband and i a valuable lesson about money....and how to do without. lol. and i am looking forward to a new car! i consider it well worth the wait, but it can't happen soon enough for me. i have had my car now for over 6 years....i bought it in 99 and it is time to put it to rest.

Once again I will mention as I have on other threads that these CC companies are dumber then dirt! In a 13 they are entitled to get something back, the courts prefer we get into a 13 as opposed to a 7 and these idiot cc companies don't even file a claim of what's rightfully theirs.
When I get out of my financial mess and have extra $$ someone please remind me never to invest in any banks since they are too stupid to exist!
Good luck and hope you get your discharge really soon!! You earned it!
