I received a letter today from my mortgage company stating that they had notified HUD of our recent pay-off of our mortgage loan, and we may be entitled to a refund since our fha loan was paid in full. The thing is we haven't paid off our mortgage????????? We pay our mortgage seperate from our chapter 13, which we have been in for about a year and a half. What do you think is going on, has this ever happened to anyone else. Could I really be this lucky that my loan just got paid off myseriously???? The bank was already closed when I got it out of the mail today, but I did call the automated system and it still gives me the correct balance(BUMMER)we owe???? Does this letter obligate the bank to giving me a zero balance or anything. This would be the answer to all my prayers, 13 is KILLING US!!! We are DOG BROKE.
