When our plan is finished and discharged, what happens with property taxes we still owe? We have mortgages on our land and home. Is the County able to try and sell our property when it is actually owned by the mortgage companies? Once we are out of our $820.00 per moth Chapter 13 payment, we will be able to catch up on what we owe in the back taxes. In a Catch 22 situation. No extra money per month to pay these off right now, but will be able to once we are discharged. What is the worst that can happen? Thanks

well, this is really out of my league, I would definitely be standing on my lawyer to find out the answer as to if you were responsible or not, but unfortunately I bet government wins over common folk
