    How worried should I be?

I received the following letter (a copy) that was sent to my attorney from the Trustee's office:

    Dear (insert attorney's name here):

A review of the above file indicates that a Trustee Recommendation was filed on May 29, 2008 and to date no Stipulated Order confirming or recommendation items have been received. If the Trustee does not receive these items by September 19, 2008 a Dismissal Order will be filed.

    Sincerely,

    (Insert Trustee's name here)

Originally, the deadline to respond to the Trustee's objections was July 1st. When I was frantically calling leading up to (and following) that date, I was reassured that the Trustee's office was VERY behind and there were no pressing issues with passing the deadline.

I called my attorney's office this morning and was told that they are VERY backed up and that my attorney intended to block out next week to only work on Ch. 13's.

I was not breathing easier hearing that.

Question #1: Anyone else having similar experiences right now?
    Question #2: HEEEEEELLLPPP!!!!
    Filed Ch 13: 2/8/08
    Meeting of Creditors: 3/19/08
    Deadline to file complaint: 5/19/08
Deadline to file proof of claims: 6/17/08

Be patient, it will probably all work out.
BUT, if your Chapter 13 attorney causes your case to be dismissed because of his actions (or lack of), then he can be held responsible thru the court. He is supposed to be working in your best interest and in a timely matter to meet all requirements the Trustee ask for.

    Keep us posted.

My suggestions are from "personal experience" and research only. Do not consider this as legal advice. Each bankruptcy case is different.
