    Just grr

Today is my would be confirmation day and I sit here just worried. My bk payment and budget are based on a 90 hr paycheck with 10 of those being at an overtime rate. My budget is also based on my DF contributing 1000 a month to the household...

Due to the hurricane, I will only recieve 70 hrs on the coming check, with no overtime...... and DF has nothing to contribute, because his job is destroyed. I am sure that my attorney and trustee are overwhelmed with stuff of this nature, but I am so worried about how we will get through the next few months. I don't thave any idea what to do.

I've been listening and watching over streaming audio and video.

I've heard that if your jobs have been cut back and/or destroyed by the storm, you are eligible for Unemployment Compensation, also food stamps.

      Good luck to you.

What is bad for DF is that he worked the two weeks prior to the storm and he's salaried, and will not recieve his check for those two weeks until his employer's insurance claim is paid.

Just when you think things can't get worse. How frustrating for you. Try not to worry. God will provide; saying a prayer for you; I hope that's okay.

When you get a lemon, turn it into lemonade. This could be the best thing that happened to you. We were filing 13 until my Adversary cause DW second job loss with his harassment. We were forced to 7. How fortunate we are. Sounds bad but look at a brighter side. You could not have a more believable situation than what you endured. That storm was actually worse than the 1900 storm that killed so many. ‘Hub

Okay... so my employer (the engineering firm, not the actual client I work for) opened a loan account for employees to draw against for time lost due to the storm. We could charge up to 50 hrs.. I charged 9 to bring it up to a standard 80 hr pay period... They just let us know about this, and I am so thankful, hopefully we will be okay. DF is now working for a company called Serve-Pro (temporarily, for less money) doing restoration work on the Kemah boardwalk and in several businesses in Galveston. Things are looking up. Thanks for the prayers.
