    Chapter 13 closed

    I waited 40 long months for this and I realize that I should be happy, but the date the case closed, my mother passed away unexpectedly. I would take being in a 13 the rest of my life over losing my mother. What should have been a happy occasion just doesn't feel very good right now.

      May 2008 Hired 1st Attorney/Stopped paying CCs
      May 21, 2009 Retained 2nd Attorney
      May 28th - Filed for Ch 7 (FINALLY!)
      9/11/09 - DISCHARGED!!!!

          My deepest sympathy on the loss of your mom. It is okay to be happy that your BK is over; you don't have to feel guilty about that.
