606 score. I filed chapter 13 in feb. Noticed the bank (auto loan) noted 60 days late and was charged off. They were included in the bk and i filed before I was 60 days late. On a side note, the report stated that my score was being negatively affected due to not having an open account with a major credit card (Visa, MC, American Express, etc). How ridiculous is that? Not having a card is bad! Ha!

Yes, as silly as that seems its called "credit history" for a reason. There have to be credit items on there with a history to judge you on. Utilizing credit appropriately can be very beneficial and lenders can get you reduced rates based on it. If theres nothing there, you'd probably default to a rate sheet towards the higher end of the scale in terms of rates.

It is amazing how credit card companies report. I have 2 accounts reporting now, AMEX is reporting me as paying on time each month, never late, and Citi is reporting (HD Card) monthly as paying on time, never late. Both of these cards were included in the bankruptcy.

LOL - all three CRAs??? Do you still have those cards?

No, they both were included in the BK. Amex sold my account to some collection company and the Citi one actually never filed a claim. But no, I do not have either one. I do not know about all 3 credit reporting agencies, I do know that is the way it is on Transunion.
