Question on paying secured outside plan

I've been reading from my trustee website middle district in Fl how you can request to pay your secured: my (2) cars and my mortgage (we are current on all secured) outside the plan. I will be filing next week and i need the advice how would we proceed?

Wouldn't that have been settled with your attorney with all the paperwork? Our mortgage is outside the plan but I don't remember exactly how that came about..we were current on payments; the car is being paid inside the plan because we wanted to do a "cram down". Sorry I can't help more!

You would simply write in your plan that the secured debt on xyz asset is to paid outside the chapter 13 plan.
