Garnishment Fee???

Our BK payments come out of hubby's paycheck. On his paystub it has
Garnishment.... The amt that we pay
and then below that
garnishment Fee...$1.00

I realize that it is only $1, ( twice a month for 60 months) but are they ( the company) allowed to charge us for it? I thought it wasn't considered a garnishment? Hubby says leave it alone...too much trouble and doesn't want company to get in trouble. Anyone else have this deduction out of their paycheck? Just wondering!!

Yes they can charge and $1.00 is super cheap. Consider it a processing fee since your company has to make out another check plus the postage for mailing.
