Yes, you can include the business debt in your personal filing. In fact, my petition was filed personally and then there is a spot right under your name for 'alias' and that is where my attorney put the S-corp name.Originally posted by indebt00 View PostI have noticed in other posts you had business credit. So...if I we were to find a PG connection...then we would be able to include them in the bk...in theory...right?thx again !!!!
Note, I did only a personal Ch 7 filing - but included all the business debt too.
However, I had to close the business corp because the creditors can get a judgment in the business name. So I am now operating as a sole prop.
It was better to do it this way for me then spend tens of thousands on a business BK.Filed CH 7 9/30/2008

We were told that ch 13 doesn't allow business debt. We have an LLC.Originally posted by StartingOver08 View PostYes, you can include the business debt in your personal filing. this is what I thought too after reading the boards. Well this was only a first visit. We have another one this week. We will see what they say.Originally posted by gettingby2008 View PostWow stop contributing to 401K that is one of the areas you are allowed to give to without much concern. I was told to increase to the fullest employer match % back in Oct we filed in Feb. That is also one area you have control over ater plan confirmation and if necessary you could change % so that you have extra $$ during the month. I would question this big time!
The thing that bothers me the most about this visit....the pymt they came up with was a lot lower than I expected. She used fed guidelines....but I did't get a copy of her worksheet...so...yeah I know lower is better...of course....but you know what they say about things that are too good
