Do you need receipts for the expenses you are claiming?

On a 13- do you need to prove you expenses- I am sitting here finishing up some of my tallies- and I was just wondering if you need to prove it-

Like, non food items- laundry detergent, etc... all that crap is pricey, and since you dont get a monthly statement for it, like you do for say a phone bill, etc.. do you need to prove that you actually spend what you say you are?

No you don't

Not usually...so long as the expenses you claim are within the realm of reasonability.

But at least your approaching it the right way, when preparing your expense budget, you should approach it as if you had to prove each of your expenses in court.
