Auto loan bank sold my account

1 year into my chapter 13, my bank sold my account to another company for my auto loan. Should I be concerned? I just recieved a letter from my bank instructing me to send my payments to this new bank. Sorry, my payments go to my trustee.

You have to notify your attorney who should in turn notify the creditor as to what steps must be followed in order for them to be paid. This happened with our second mortgage. Although it took a little while to get everything ironed out, our attorney was terrific about making sure everything was in place.

I filed everything pro se. I don't have an attorney.

The old lender probably sent the same notice to the trustee. I'd send a copy to the trustee letting them know of the change. Nothing else should change other than where the trustee sends the money.
