Has anyone signed up for electronic notices thru....

the Bankruptcy Noticing Center? its free...it was listed on my court docs.
I can get all our notices thru email in PDF.
just curious if anyone else has tried it.

What notices would you be getting? claim info? creditor actions? that kind of thing?

I don't know? it was from the actual bk courts...it was on their envelope. So I am guessing its court documents from them only? I don't really know.

I filed pro se and signed up for electronic notification.

What I receive via email is notification of everything that gets filed in my case and a link to the actual documents via pacer. So, I signed up for pacer and when I click on the link in the email, it takes me to the login for Pacer. I login and, voila, the filing appears (for a small fee of $.08 per page.)

That sounds nice but I would miss getting the mailed correspondence from the court. You know the ones with the word BANKRUPTCY printed in extra large bold font on the outside of the envelope.

We received the same info with our BK papers and I went to sign up and really didnt understand some of the questions at sign up so I'll just stick with the old snail mail. I'm not in any hurry to get anything from BK courts. I'm in the plan for 3 years

Really, I agree with Jade73. How many notices would a person be getting from the courts? I filed March 08 and have maybe two pieces of mail from the trustees office. The only filings listed on pacer are minimal and have little meaning to me anyway. I only want notices Iake need to take action on.

I love that! Havent got any mail yet accept all the mail from the creditors mailman probably wonders why i get a bill from them everyday! But than when we get the mail with BANKRUPTCY written on the front I guess he will know!
