Making final PMT to Attorney

Finally we are ready to make our final pre-file payment along with our filing fee. I am SOOOOOOOOOOO ready to get this all behind us.

One question, I can't remember, our pre-counseling, does it need to be before I file or before our 341?

Yeah! It took me a year to pay my attorney (long story, but we didn't end up go with him after all that!)...so, CONGRATS on getting the ball rolling.

The pre-counseling cert. is due before you file

The pre-counseling course must be complete before "filing" the case. Your attorney must file the certificate of completion along with the rest of your BK petition.

Final payment went out today!!! Should be ready to file within a week or so!!!! I'm beyond happy!!!

Now, if I could figure out how to get rid of ONE very nasty collection agency, I'd be really happy, they are breaking every collection rule in the book and won't give up!!!
