Once more, should I expect a partial refund of the only payment ($2800) that I made to the trustee? And does anybody have an idea of what I should write in a letter to the attorney to request my legal fees back?

Once more, should I expect a partial refund of the only payment ($2800) that I made to the trustee? And does anybody have an idea of what I should write in a letter to the attorney to request my legal fees back?

If you dismiss your case and have paid the trustee any payments, any unpaid funds will be returned to you minus the trustee fee. In my district when my case was initially dismissed, they kept $100 and sent me the rest.
