I recently got on 13datacenter.com to check if my money is being distributed correctly and to my surprise I discovered that I originally pay through garnishment $1500.00 a month. It works out to be 346.15 a week the way I get paid. But on the data base at 13 data center they raised my monthly payment to $1750.00. I can't afford that. I barely clear 200.00 a week as it is. WHat is going on. I WILL call my lawyer but this is crap. Also I have paid into the plan since November and my trustee has only paid for one vehicle, I still have another vehicle and also my house. Who in the world is running this program? Very inconsistent. Please help with suggestions. Thanks

I'm in Missouri. I will be talking to my lawyer today at 3. It seems that the way they set it up it is designed to make you want to convert to a chap 7. Its bad enough I work my butt off all week and receive roughly around 200.00 a week. I understand that doesn't include my wife's income and my military retirement however. Am I allowed to call my trustee's office direct and talk to them or is that a good move? I don't want to get upset over the phone and ruin things. Thanks for the advice. Please give me more if you have any. Have a great Christmas and a hopefully Happy New Year.

Whoa! Where did that come from? I hope you are trying to be funny. I don't know where u live but where I live I have responsibilities like child support, heat, water, food, electric etc. I also have 3 kids at home that required things and based upon the plan that we assembled, us and the attorney, we could afford 1500 dollars. I don't have a secret money box somewhere in the house. Obviously you are a lawyer, creditor or something to that effect because you are acting like it. All in all the only ones making out on the bk 13 is the lawyers, creditors and trustees. Certaintly not the debtors. Thanks for caring.

Don't worry about Lightning, he's the type of person who has to go outside to change his mind.
If he can embaress you, anger you or annoy, he's won already. Just ignore and live better.

All of your expenses should be taken into consideration, as well as all your income. The end resulting difference goes 100% into the plan. If you have $1500 left over in your budget and the trustee has changed you to $1750, he may be discounting some of your expenses. Speak to your attorney. Most of my information is from personal experience or HOURS and HOURS of online research. When you're searching online, keep in mind there is no guarantee that the info is completely up to date, and your situation is unique from anyone else's. Do your homework, and consult with an attorney so you can make an informed decision.
