When do unsecured creditors get paid?

We are nine months into our bk13 and am wondering when the trustee will begin paying the unsecured claims. We are at a 63% payback and have paid nearly $10k into the plan. Only $2.5k has been paid out totally paying the remaining lawyer fees and making the $100/month payment on our crammed down car balance. All the secured claims are self pay and only the unsecured claims remain other than the car payment. Not that it makes any difference, but are the unsecureds paid in a lump sum or monthly? Incidently all of the original unsecured claims have been purchased by bottom feeder collection sevices.
