At this point, we aren't behind on anything to any body. Having said that, the only bills I've paid so far this month are necessary items like rent, groceries, phone, etc. The rest are accumulating. Haven't even paid the house payment. So there's no past due amount to go BK on with the Cell phone company. Trying to decide what to do. One attny says pay, another attny says not to pay. One attny said pay the ones we'd charged on and give the others smaller amounts. Who knows which one is right??!! Maybe they all are to some degree.

We are with Sprint. Have been for years. For a long time, we only had one cell phone. After my initial contract expired, I went on a "month to month" arrangement with them. Stayed like that for a long time. That way, if a better deal came along, I could change if I wanted. But all of our family is a long distance phone call just to chat and keep up, or call in an emergency. Before I got into this contract a year ago, I checked service areas. Sprint was still the only one that had service to all the different parts of the country we call on a regular basis. And, so far, knock on wood, I haven't had any trouble dealing with them like so many horror stories I've heard from other people.

I am not an attorney. My comments are based on personal experience and research. Always consult an attorney in your area to address concerns related to your particular situation.

correct. too many variables involved. there is the following players:

      -judge, his helpers
      -us trustee, his helpers
      -trustee, his helpers
      -your attorney, his helpers
-your petition and the type of font and ink that was used to fill it out
      -you
      -the time of day
      -the date of the month
      -moods
      -changing opinions
      -the previous cases outcome

all these things change day to day. there is no set hard and fast rules. it is all taken into consideration. it all depends on how its presented, who the trustee is and feels like that day, etc.

they can do whatever they want. and it all depends on how they feel at teh moment. there are plenty of cases that slipped by because the attorney is good friends with the trustee, etc.

if it was set in stone then it woulndt be so complex. you just have to play your cards right as best you can.

this means fight for everything you can try your very best to not have to change things after they object to something. by then its too late and they think you are not credible, and it hurts you.

for most this process works fine enough.
Im not an attorney or a trustee. You cant trust me either though!
