Most of my information is from personal experience or HOURS and HOURS of online research. When you're searching online, keep in mind there is no guarantee that the info is completely up to date, and your situation is unique from anyone else's. Do your homework, and consult with an attorney so you can make an informed decision.

its hard to help people sometimes. they got themselves into the situation because of how they are. that is unlikey to change to be honest.
most of us here will end right back up into bk again sooner or later unless we have already changed our methods.
hate to say it friends but you know its true.Im not an attorney or a trustee. You cant trust me either though!

Yes, many folks go right back to borrowing and use the credit cards and say "I'll never get in THAT SITUATION AGAIN".... and a year later, there they are with no way out!!! Struggling again!!!
Bankruptcy should and does teach us a whole new life style if we will heed the message....
If we decided to buy something big - wait 24 hours - then see how important it really is.....
Just because you are out of debt does not mean you can really "afford it"!!!
You have to be realistic about how your lifestyle is going to be after bankruptcy - and make bankruptcy work for you - not against you!Minny
"It's amazing the paths that our feet sometimes follow in life".
My suggestions are from "personal experience" and research only. Do not consider this as legal advice. Each bankruptcy case is different.

If someone is that irresponsible with money they need to take extreme measures. Direct deposit paychecks, rip up checks and cards. No access to money without going and making a bank withdrawal during business hours. All bills automatic electronically tranfer funds from account. If he has to go and make one or two withdrawals a month to make certain payments and buy groceries, gas and necessities, that fine as long as he never overwithdraws. Otherwise I don't know how someone like that will ever manage without losing everything first and learning the hard way.
