Hired my attorney and sign my papers Monday

I paid my attorney for his services yesterday and will sign the papers Monday after I turn in a few more necessary documents. Best move I have made in the past two years of suffering through endless phone calls, letters and sleepless nights. Why in the heck I did not file Chapter 13 earlier. Thanks to this board, my decision was a lot easier. Thanks all!

Same for me, I finished paying today and signed all of my docs today! I thought it would be an emotional time for me BUT I am not! I'm actually quite happy that I have decided to do this. Now I can answer the phone and don't have to worry about hounding creditors! My main goal was to save my home but being "unsecured" debtfree in 5 years was a bonus! Good Luck!

I filed a month to the day ago and agree that the 'relief' I felt (and feel) is amazing!
