Signer on mothers bank account

If you are an "authorized signer" on an account and the bank does not have your social security associated with that account is there any risk they can freeze it? (wells fargo)....I never make deposits, withdrawls or anything associated with the account my mother just wanted me on there in case of emergency?

I don't believe so... since your name is not on the heading of the account, but burried in the fine print of signers in the files at the bank.
