    I'm lost

I'm pretty new here. This site has been very helpful and filled w/ people who really know what they are talking about. I have learned alot.

    A few questions

Why is my payment $100.00 and most people are way over $1,000.00? Is this just based on income and how much debt? Do those payments that are in the thousands include mortgages and car payments? I have neither. Is that a reason why mine are low?
My debt is solely medical and CC.

    Thank You

be happy your payment is only $100.00!! it is all to do with how much disposable income you have and not the type of debt you have..... my payment is about 550.00 per month and does not include my mortgage or my car.....

Thank You. So basically that is the amount I could afford based on what I make compared to all the monthly bills I have? That is what I'm left w/ to make my Trustee payment? If my income was higher and my monthly bills were the same my payments would obviously be higher?

        Exactly.....
so if you made lets say you had 500.00 more a month DISPOSABLE income... you would be paying back $600.00 a month until you are at 100% or 60 months which ever comes first!

Thank You again. That would explain why the last year of my plan my payments go up. I will have paid my 401k loan by then and the amount of that goes towards the plan.
