house purchase possible while in Chapt 13 plan?

I apologize for the redudancy because I thought I had already posted this question, but I cannot find it, and have not received any responses.

Question: Has anyone purchased a house while in a Chapter 13 plan? Is it possible?

If it is possibe... what happens if my proposed mortgage is more expensive than my current rent under the Chapt. 13 plan? How is it treated?
