Basically my atty told us that as long as we stay current on the trustee payt, to keep plugging along...so that being said...what the heck will happen; hubby going to try to rent a place, let's say he does that, & pays me child support. i manage to stay in the house & we keep making trustee payment. I worry what will happen down the road...I'm sure trustee if he asks for tax returns or whatever will wonder what we have done. I know if I decide to give back the house & walk away, sounds like that could be a greater problem. As then I would be renting somewhere which would be lower rent than what I pay now for the mortgage BUT we would both be paying rent so it would really cancel each other out with the 2nd household. I just am baffled as to what I should be doing.
We are going to see another BK attorney, paying him a consult fee to look at our case & recommend if we should try to convert to a 7 & walk away & what that would mean.
I just cannot take the stress of this on top of everything else!
