    First payment made and cashed

    Mailed my first payment out on 1/14 (my birthday - how fitting!), saw in my online banking today that it has been cashed! (It was due 1/23).

    Whew. One down, 59 to go.

    Now I'm just fretting while waiting for the 341 on Feb 3. I've read tons of your posts, but I'm still nervous as hell!
    Filed ch 13 12/23/10; closed 3/14; refiled ch 7 on 4/13; 341 on 5/13; reaffirmation 7/11 (denied); 7/14/11 DISCHARGED

    As someone who just made their 2nd payment, and just did the 341 yesterday, I can tell you it was FINE. I was also nervous and scared but it really ended up being nothing, just like everyone says. The trustee's representative was really nice and it wasn't any big thing. Like others before me, I wish I hadn't stressed about it so much! The biggest hassle was the hour drive to get there and having to take a half day off work! Good luck!

      Hi Boomer, are you allowed to send personal checks?
      Filed Chapter 13 with lien strip on 2-28-11 * 341 held on 3-30-11 * First confirmation hearing held 4-20-11, continued until 5-25-11, continued until 6-29-11, continued until 8-10-11. Plan finally confirmed on 8-10-11!!!

        I was. I'd asked here before hand, but did get a little instructional packet (and questionnaire) from the trustee a few days before I wanted to make the payment. It said they accepted check or money order, so I just wrote the check. From some of the response I had before, it could vary.

            BREATHE!! you need the air! It will all go well! Just be patient as nothing in a 13 goes quickly!!!
