The peril of filing "too early" chapter 13

help- where did i read posts about this? I am asking about the first and or 2nd mortgage Co's (or even credit card creditors) somehow getting in there and doing what to prevent me from doing what? should they get wind and have a 30 day window...

I want to postpone my trustee sale and not have to do an emergency BK filing, but I need to know I will not jeopardize anything for myself..
