Cable bill question?

I have a past due bill in my name with Time Warner I would like to include in my chapter 7. We currently have Time Warner in my husband's name with the account up to date. If Time Warner sees that we are filing joint bankruptcy will they close my husband's account with them even though he is not putting that account in the bankruptcy? Thanks.

You have no worries there. Since the account is up to date it will not be a part of the BK. Time Warner only does a credit check when you first get service to see if you need to pay a security deposit, they could care less what happens to your credit once you have service. As long as you keep paying the bill they will keep providing the service.
