obtain counseling from.

You have to take a pre-counseling course before filing and a credit counseling course before discharge. Do you mean that you have almost completed your chapter 13 payments, and you need the credit counseling course? Did you possibly take the credit counseling course shortly after your chapter 13 was filed? If you did and you have a pacer account, you should be able to check to see if the certificates were uploaded. Do you have an attorney? They could provide you with an accurate list of acceptable credit counseling agencies both local and internet. Good luck!

Yes, you do need to go online and answer all questions to get your certificate. It is set to be a specific time period (1.5 - 2 hours I believe) and you cannot complete it any sooner than what is stated. Ours was a 12 question (if I recall...) multiple choice type and in order to do it in the correct timeframe, we had to give each question roughly 12 minutes between answers. Again, there is a sticky on the forums that has pre and post cert courses When you complete it, make CERTAIN that your attorney received their copy; the site stated they emailed it to ours, but he never received it, so we forwarded it onto him as well.
