    Divorce during C-13 repayment period

Right now I'm planning a solo C-13 because my wife has an "attitude" about it, and would prefer to pay her debts in full (with 29%) interest over 20+ years. So she is aware of my C-13 plans, and supposedly approves... although her conversation has gotten pretty snippy about it.

    Hypothetically speaking...

Suppose we divorced. The judge will award child support, but everything else should be pretty well cut-and-dried. The child support would be a new expense... plus I would be changing homes, etc. Would I be able to amend my C-13 at that point? I would still have disposable income, just not as much so the unsecured would get less.

    Again, all hypothetical.

    Thanks!

Yes, your plan could be amended (if you don't have a minimum amount to pay because of un-exempted assets)
